Product Review – EO conditioners

Hello Beauties!

It’s product review time!! :) I have been holding out on this brand of products for a while now, merely because I wanted to be sure of its effectiveness. But first, let me tell you about the company. EO is a family owned company that produces certified organic, personal care products. Their mission entails using the highest grade natural and certified organic ingredients and their products are natural, gentle, effective and free from animal testing.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a few of their conditioners via iHerb. What I love about these products are that they are not only effective but their ingredient list is UNDERSTANDABLE. You understand what is contained in these conditioners which is an important fact for any natural, whether they are in the transitioning phase like I am, or maintaining their beautiful curls.

The first conditioner that I tested is the Sulfate-Free Conditioner with Keratin (the good keratin, not the one used to chemically straighten hair). This conditioner smoothes, softens, hydrates, fortifies and, of course, conditions the hair. It is suitable for chemically treated hair and has a coconut and hibiscus scent.

The second conditioner that I tested is the Restorative Conditioner for Normal to Dry Hair. This has a honey and chamomile scent that claims to nourish and balance with drench-to-quench botanicals.

And the third is the Weightless Clarifying Conditioner(not shown in the photograph). This specific condition I had used as a leave-in. On the particular day, I happened to be at a wellness spa, spending hours in the sauna. While getting ready to have dinner, I noticed how soft my hair was feeling and received may complements from guests on how nourished and shiny my hair is looking. So, I guess that explains the effectiveness of this particular conditioner 😉 The weightless feel is definitely an additional bonus!

These hair care products are truly effective. They left my hair feeling soft and moisturised. I used them in my co-washing sessions on their own, as deep, conditioning masks, as well as leave-in stylers. On all three occasions I was amazed at the way my hair felt, smelt and looked after using these. They remove oil and product build-up exceptionally well, leaving hair refreshed and silky smooth. They are the most effective products that I have used to date! What I am most amazed by all these chemically-free hair care products that are so AFFORDABLE and EFFECTIVE! I have noticed a huge difference in my hair in that it is more moisturised as well as being soft to the touch. I would even go as far as saying that I might just have found a substitute product for the not-so-affordable DevaCurl One Condition (see “Co-washing & Conditioner” blog post) – THAT’S how impressed I am with these products.

So, for anyone looking for effective products to nurture those curls, these are a must-have at reasonable prices. All the products that I have mentioned are available at iHerb and range between € 4,77 and € 4,98… Can you say bargain??? :)
